Run a search on here . Lots of pics and discussion from before . They are pretty nice . Stumpy manages the ranch that owns him I believe.

Give Stumpy a call, I am sure Jeff would love to share info on Gus.

I currently have about 8 TM Gus replacement heifers that are F1 Angus-Shorthorn crosses. They are really nice structurally, sound, and consistent. I purchased them from Jungels earlier this year. I am very happy with them. I know that some of them would make show heifers and the rest could definitely have calves that would be show heifers.

Can't remember if Gus is a calving ease option? Wondered how he'd do on some smaller made females.

The cow in refernce here by LCC#2 ..

this was her first calf .. she is 2 .. moderate framed .. what most call a "steer momma" .. had her a week early & the calf was pretty small .. i dont know exact BW but i would say 50-60lbs no bigger than that .

I have heard a mixture of things. Derek Jungels told me that he would breed the Jake's Proud Jazz heifers to TM Gus and the TM Gus heifers to Jakes Proud Jazz. So I think he believes that Gus can be calving ease. I did hear of a 100+ lb heifer calf from Gus. I have heard some people on here say their Shorthorn bull consistently has 80lb or less calves. I am hesitant to use Gus on heifers myself. I am trying out Star Bucks... We will see how he does.

I won't believe the bw epd. Only word of mouth and actual experience.
