Have a red belted fullblood Maine x Galloway hefiers to breed this spring. Wanting to increase Maine influence. Who would you breed her to?

Was thinking Jose and cleanup with the bull in my avatar. But open to suggestions. Looking to raise a jackpot hefiers that could produce some good haired steers down the road.

If you didn't mind using a black bull I really like the Comfort Zone calves. I think he would produce some great momma's out of those heifers.

I'd go for something that is high % Maine like Comfort Zone or Daddy's Money.

Thanks for all the input. I do have Daddy's Money in the tank but was concerned about lack of frame size with the Galloway influence in the hefiers. Although a live calf is better than anything else first time around.

One of our biggest cows is Dirty Hairy daughter. She throws the smallest calves in the herd. I am not sure its because Dirty Hairy is an Ali son. Its a thought. He is 75% Maine.

I was told by a reliable source that Armada looked awesome as a two year old and that his calves are coming small ( I was told by someone who has seen him and had calves, not someone marketing him)

Thanks for all the suggestions. This hefiers is a bit of guilty pleasure project lol. She doesn't fit our current program but when my wife had her Galloway cows we all joked about raising a pb belted Maine. Finally got a belted half blood out of our last Galloway cow. So we figured we had to try and worst case scenario we good get some neat steers for our daughters 4h projects.
