This is a Heatwave heifer that I currently have.  This picture was taken last winter/spring.  She currently has an Ali heifer calf on the ground and the heifer is very nice.  Due to her size and not being really big I'm going to give her a try and flush her once to see what she can produce.  Any suggestions will be welcomed.

I would flush her to YJ and then breed her later to Troubadour . YJ will add some power and size to her .. Troubadour will give you a smaller calf @ birth and easier on her .

Kris Black's  Cream of crop bull sale catalog and videos posted. 100 plus bulls sell and many are troubadour and yellow jacket sons. ... this may help you make your decision?  www.ccollins.com

all of the bulls looked awesome- but lot 13 is a chunk ! lots 3 and 4

We used Troubadour and I would use him again. I have not seen that many YJ calves.

good luck

I'm all about troubadour on her but think yellow jacket will bring her up in size.  But after reading more about YJ, will he add the guys to one? Yes I saw the sale catalog and I am highly impressed!

If she needs guts and to be soggy then I would definately go with Troubador.  If she will bring the guts, sogginess, and easy finishing then YJ may work.  I have been impressed with the YJ calves I have come across early on, but I have not been happy with the way they finished.  The YJ calves just havent fed well in my opinion.
