he didn't work on anything for me.  simply not enough to them.  I used him on clubby TH carriers, clean sim/angus and chi/angus and was severely disappointed in all of them.  I am going to Yellow Jacket for clubby clean genetics

Saw some really good looking Hairy Bear calves last year on I believe Matt Lautners site that were out of Heat Wave females. We tried him on our best HW cow should know how it worked around April.

This is a hairy bear x haras miss america. She has the makes of a good club calf producing female. In my opinion there is two ways to go about using him. The 1st is on carrier females to make club calves and the 2nd is to use him on th free cows to make club calf producing females that you can go back with heat wave or his sons. I think hairy bear in the 2nd situation plays the same role that wmw is playing now and what full flush did a couple years ago.

This heifer was slick sheared back in nov. so she is just growing back in her body hair.

He didn't work on anything at my place.  Pretty cattle but no power and muscle at all.  I bred him to several of my stoutest cows that have had real good ones out of different bulls years before and these hairy Bear calves really disappointed me.  I don't see myself using the semen I have left over in my tank.

The best one that I have personaly seen was the RGC @ the Ia State Fair a couple of years ago and I'm sure that some use of the bull has been generated from that steer. He was out of a Double Stuff cow I beleive, but know for sure that she was SH. Hairy Bear himself is a very good looking complete bull, but in my opinion would have to be used on a pretty powerfully stacked cow to throw a steer stout enough for today's showring. I think his sire would throw more power or his son Hairy may throw  more power. Caution with the Hairy bull, one of the biggest calves that I have ever seen was a hairy, and know of other large ones. Could have been the Dam side of the pedigree.
