where do you buy a stick on heat decector???

we need one that you stick onto their tail head and the little tube breaks when they get jumped. We are trying to et our cow and cant be home to monitor them. Or qany other sugestions and homemade detector ideas are appreciated as well.

does it rub off the cow when jumped or just get on the other cow? where do you get it?

The Estrus Alert patches actually work better and can be ordered from most semen suppliers and I know Valley Vet carries them.  I don't like the  ones that the tube breaks as well because you can't tell what broke the tube, if they scratch on a branch or another cow jumps them but they aren't standing, the tube still breaks, with the Estrus patch things like that will scratch the pad, but it isn't normally slick unless they are actually in standing heat and have had numerous jumps.
