I have worked on a lot of dryers over the years and all the ones I have worked on they all have the same motors. From first hand experience I can tell you that hurricane, Patterson, circuiteer, Sullivan and even my double setup I started building and selling a couple years ago all use the same ametek lamb motor. What does matter is some of the other comments that were made about ease of hauling, storage, filter and stuff like that. Perfect example is the heater used in some. Most people I talk to don't even use them and to me they are one of the main causes for popped breakers. That's why I don't use them in my dryer. The motors in all these dryers have a start up amp of 10 amps per motor so if you start both motors and the heater at the same time what ever the amp is on that heater is what your over loading the circuit at start up since the motors alone max out the 20 amp circuit found at most shows and also the standard breaker on most generators. They draw less once running but that's why most of the time breakers kick as you start the dryer up.
