I looked at Teets sale catalog and there wasn't much in there. There was only 12 steers and pretty much all of the bred cattle were bred by their herd bull. I know some people that help out and go to the Penn State sale. They say there's a pretty nice selection up there. I would go if I had the time to. You can go to their website and see a list of some cattle they're selling up there. Hope this helps!  ;D

Some of the best bulls out there never sell a single straw of semen. I strongly discourage anyone from thinking "just a herd bull" can't make some great calves.

I'm going to the Teets sale on Sunday.  I thought the cattle in the sale catalog looked excellent.  I'm not looking for steers but maybe a heifer or two.  I have never been to the sale at Penn State.  I heard mixed reviews on the KILE sale as far as quality, so, who knows what will be at State College?
