So I am still in High school, and the money I get from selling my calves is the only income I make right now, and I don't want to have my mom pay for anything so I can only afford to get 1 of these 2 supplements on a regular basis. I just need to know which one is better and more worth the price, Shag for Heifers/regular Shag, or Fresh and Feminine? I have an Angus heifer that I plan to use this on if I can decide which one to get, and I have never used either so I have no clue how well one works from another. If anybody who has used 1 or both of these products before and can give me their opinion that would be great!

She is a little heavy in the front, which makes me think F&F, but she also could have better hair growth than what I am working with right now (I just slick sheered her in March but even her full coat could be better), which makes me think shag, I'm just stuck.

Her brisket lines up with her girth, so she does not look heavy fronted to me.  She definitely needs more middle and she is about right condition-wise for a breeding heifer, but needs to have more condition for show.  Her pose needs some help and that will make her look better too.  Others probably have way more experience feeding Fresh & Feminine, but we usually only used it the last 40-60 days before a show when the heifers (and steers) were carrying quite a bit of condition.  I do not think F&F will do much until she fattens up some.  We used to get some fat pones started then start the F&F to keep the front end together.  That being said, I couldn't bring my self to really feed our heifers hard, so we usually had the skinnier ones even though they were packing more condition than desired for a breeding heifer.

I've used shag before...done better with hard work and good genetics. Shag didn't do much in the situation I was using it for. Agreed with the fresh n fem. I don't think your in need of either
