white shorthorns????

Love the white one when they are yound and in the show ring. Just when they get older they see look a little more run down. Plus i dislike white hooves, they crack and break to easy. I dont see why they would be more expensive though. Supply and demand i guess, less white shorties = more money.

depends. a good white one may be more expensive than a good red. whites tend to have better hair but perosally i like a good roan

sometimes the white ones get over looked because they are white and people associate them with Charolais. The roan ones normally sell better then any of them

I have always enjoyed looking at shorthorns and if I raised another breed shorties would be it, but I personally would prefer the heifer to not be white.  I would think that they would be a pain to keep clean.  I raise angus and the I guess I have been spoiled by not having to wory about the problem of stains.
