I plan on being there for sure.

If I can't go, I will have several people there looking and could probably get eyes on anything of interest.

I will be there.  I know Mike Studer went through the cattle the other day.

Gross was around 976k, average was just over 5. High seller was 13k for lot 1 I believe. DV Auctions may have the full results.

I think the Roan Ruby cow and the Gem pair both sold above 13k, but it doesn't really matter. Enjoyed the sale from the cheap seats at home and it sounded like lots went to all three coasts and into Canada with a few steer planet members picking up a few lots. Seemed like the auctioneer did a nice job of working through all the various lots as well.

Roan ruby went for $16,500 and the gem pair went for $14,000. It was a nice crowd and nice animals. I left around lot 70. Did anyone catch what the semen tanks and Maxim/Saskvalley Primo semen sold for?

I only wrote down what I was interested in and can't seem to find it on DV auction today, but I have $8,500 on the first tank and $40 to $60 on the Primo.

The Maxim started at $250 then finished at $200. The sexed Maxim brought $450 to $1,000. The 2nd semen tank brought $4500

I watched parts of the sale. Really like lot 21 of the purebreds- nice to see the cow family headed back to IL. George Slater (GK Augusta Linda) at one time was the oldest fella running shorthorn cows in IL.- if you met him at sales he was happy to tell ya so.  He was in his late 80's when I met him, very proud breeder!

ok- who can post prices of Lot 79A and 79B. Thanks

Didn't have time to watch the sale but was wondering what lots 2S and 2T brought and what the lot 85A-C embryos sold for.
