What is everyone breeding their WMW daughters to. I just got a sunseeker calf out of her and seemed to work great, but I try and stay away from linebreeding, if I can. I have heatwave, bleedin purple, manchild, golden child, rocky balboa, sunseeker.

so, let me get this straight.  if a calf is out of who made who, that makes the calf 50% who made who.  if you breed two who made who half sibs, that's 50% who made who, except 25% is on the bottom and 25% is on the top.  can't really see what the problem is.  so you can say i would like to keep the bull % the same while incorporating two cows, or just sort genes on two animals, elucidating any defects.  linebreeding is good. if you want to hide defects and have them pop up without planning, keep crossbreeding.

Heat Wave or Monopoly have both been working great. Knabe is right in that linebreeding can work. I would keep it to one time. I once saw an All About Who(Who Made Who x Who Made Who) x Who Made Who heifer calf. That might be a little much.

we have used Sunseeker the past two years on one of our who made who daughters and it has clicked both times. This is her steer we sold last year.
