What do you think of Who Made Who.  I'm thinking of using him, but I want some feed back first.  Thanks

WMW was the first club calf bull that I ever used.  Used him on a big SimAngus and got great results.  The steers and females are equally valuable.  Time tested genetics.

Those are the ones he works best on.Especially if you get a heifer they could be quite valuable.

I agree with Cotullaguy, as long as she is not real straight in her front end, WMW would work on her.

WMW works very well on Heat wave.  Best steer I had was a WMW cow breed to Heat Wave. Also if you have Heat Wave Heifers breed them to WMW. This calf picture I use next to my name is a Heat Wave/ Who made who Steer that won the light middle weight AOB class in Houston last year.

Make sure what ever female you use him on is sound front and back. If the cow is sound you will be pleased with the results. One of best females was a Black Impact x WMW. Freaky freaky fronted. Who usually stamps his front end on them and they just have that "look". We used him the first time this year on a heifer. I will know in a week whether that was a good choice or not. Lots folks seem to get along fine with Who as a calving ease sire.

i dont' think he will detract from the amount of bone. we used him a few times and the calves didn't look like much coming out but really grew and developed the look. ours have more bone than the mothers but not so much that it makes you scared about calving difficulties. they sure do get a nice neck in them, really long and extended in all the ones we have.

My own personal experience with the WHo calves is they come small and usually grow pretty good. Some follow the path of the cow meaning if the cow is pretty large and growthy the calf will be the same. He definitely will not add size. A friend of ours used him on older maine genetics with good resluts. The calves were larger than most who's and looked good.Sound cows sound calves.
