when I was growing up we had a 3-4 inch auger with a small electric motor to move grain .. mostly just to lift it 4-6 feet .. seems like it was 10 feet long... are those available anymore? who sells them (retail )

Don't know what stores you had close so I just googled an online place that has them. 4" x 11' looks to be about smallest but google search of utility augers may help you.

Bulk bin manufactures may have smaller augers on hand or know where to look also.
