she looks small footed, straight pasterned, especially behind, nice shoulder front end extension, clean.  she has a break behind her shoulder, which is typical of pb maine's.  she's seems straight in her stifle.  she needs some deepening, which is also typical of maine's.  i'd breed her to a crossed up bull with some set in his stifle and some bigger feet.  she's got a great front end cleanness wise so you could compromise there.  she has nice length, so you could give up something there.  she appears to have a nice head shape with not too long a snout.

if she isn't really tall i would breed her to sunseeker and if she is a little bigger framed monopoly.

i don't think you can go wrong with either.

I think the Dr. Who might be good as well, wait and see what it turns out like. I think Monopoly or Point Taken might be perfect for her too

if you were sure about getting a black calf maybe consider breeding her to hereford for a black baldy,i'm not a hereford fan but a good bull on her might just click.

really depends on what you are breeding for...I'm not against sunseeker or monopoly females, but if it is a heifer, she could be positive both ways, and that will bring her value down a bit, but for steers I agree with that...dr. who should work for steers and heifers

Doesn't matter. I am just looking for the best chance to get a good steer. Most likely a crossbred. I have some Monopoly in the tank, but would be open to something THF/PHAF.

I would agree with some of the previous statements on your Dr Who calf.  Also I do have a shorthorn bull TF Shooter, he is a TH carrier, but pha free. we have had several calves out of him and he works wonders on maines. we have also tested several and most have come back THF.  Also there is a bull called Hired Man he is a hannibal out of a double stuff cow that is thf and phaf. very deep, thick, and heavy boned. pictured on cattle visions. feel free to contact me with any further questions:

I think Milkman might be interesting too. My concern would be if they got too big. She might need more power for Monopoly, but who know?
