Winter Rinsing

For this up coming show season I would like to be able to rinse my calves during the winter months and I was wondering what your methods are for rinsing in the cold weather. I also have a few questions.
1.Do you need to have heated water?
2.Should I have a heater in the barn for after rinsing?

As long as the water comes out the hose, we rinse.  We've had icicles form on the wet calves.  If it's really cold we will rinse and dry in the cooler(not running of course).
