Wow, what a Grandma...very inspirational!!

    I know what I would do if I got my hands on the thugs that did this to this poor grandma, and it wouldn't be nice.  What is this crazy world coming to?

clear example of desensitization.  can't eat the horses, but for goodness sakes, don't teach kids respect.  rolling your eyes.  i tried that a few times.  i can just feel their thoughts. "what's the big deal?"  what would happen to these kids in the 50's?  i thinks i know.

Hopefully they treat them like they do rapists and child molesters when they get to prison.  Knabe, you are absolutely right, desensitization. 

If I  (and I probably speak for most of us) would have gotten to those punks before the cops did, they might not have made it to prison.  I KNOW that if this had happened to my dear late grandma, not one of those horrible kids would have walked into that courtroom.  They would PRAY for prison.  It makes me want SO angry and it makes me want to cry at the same time.  The kids who did that are my "peers".....I can't think of a single person that I have ever met who would do such a monstrous thing.

The thing that makes me angry about this is that I could see MY 86 year old grandma helping some punks like these out too.  She always tells me that she tries to find the "good" in people and ALWAYS gives people the benefit of the doubt.  She is such a loving and happy person and she tells me that she wakes up every morning "happy".

If anybody ever did anything like this to her, I know that I would have to take care of them myself, there would be no law involved.  Knowing my grandma she would probably "forgive" these thugs in her heart, not quit sure that I would do the same.

There a lot of people in this world that only need to be in one place, not prison, not halfway houses, not rehab.  They belong in the ground.  No judge, no jury, no appeals, just a bullet and hole in the ground.  Old West justice.  Where if you lived to be an old man it was because you were a good man...
