I just received Gib Yardleys sale catalog and the the bulls are impressive but the most impressive were the footnotes and thoughts from the veteran cattleman that has seen it all and is able to raise a Christian family and his feeling about from cattle to government are great reading. These are a few of his statements. We have no club calf breeding in our cowherd.A good bull must have a good mother.Bulls in the Angus breed that are selected on paper alone or single traits and no visual analysis are headed for a dead end road.We now have a government that wants to take our money and distribute it to the people that are too lazy to work.I hope and pray everyday that there will be enough hard working conservative citizens that can save our country. We need wise men like this to judge a few cattle shows instead of ones that haven't made a living by hard work and are more concerned how they look .
