Yello Repo

1st time posting, long time reader. Was curious about what Yello Repo's birth weight numbers for his calves are. I have looked all over and can't find any information. We have some commercial cattle that are mostly angus and was thinking about trying him on some of them with the hope of maybe getting a decent steer for my kids to show and some of our local shows.

A couple of breeeders I talked to at the time told me they didn’t have any calving problems out of him. By his pedigree, I’d expect that to be true. I did really, really like him when I saw him when he was young, and saw a few nice calves out of him but he never really caught on.

I bought a cane of Yellow Repo semen back when they were promoting him, but I didn’t end up AI’ing any cows that fall.  I’d forgotten it was in the tank, but I ran across it and ended up using some of it last fall, on some cows I really like but they haven’t clicked real well for us so far.  I’m anxious to see what they have.

I would think he could work well for what you’re wanting to do, but I’m not speaking from experience.
