Just like adding lactobacilus into your feed.  Appetite Express or a good probios is better formulated for cattle.  Lots of other similar products just read the label.

Hmm I had never thought about doing it myself, someone just told me about it. I think it'd be a big mess to deal actually. Lol

Back when we had a dairy farm we used to give it to the sick newborns, it worked they didn't die. But I have no clue what it did besides straighten their stomachs out.

Agreed. Re-introduces the bacteria into the stomachs! I bet it tastes better than the powdered ProBios.
