I didn't want to hijack red bulls leader post. So I am hoping he will post info and pics about this bull on here. Anybody else with any insight is welcome too.
Kibler, I have a few pictures on this computer that I can share of "YY The Earl of Dover 118U". I have several of his daughters now in production and I am well pleased. I will have to get to another photo file at home to access some of their pictures. Not everyone will appreciate "Earls" phenotype. He is what I consider a "real maternal bull". A lot of people will likely find him to be lacking in his rear quarter for their ideal. In my mind, he was what I look for in a bull to produce outstanding daughters. I only have a limited amount of semen on him. It was collected for personal on farm use only. I used a son of his out of a DRC female this year on the "Easy" daughters. I am looking forward to seeing the results. Earls calves have all been moderate BW and have been unnassisted. His calves have all had exceptional vigor at birth. I have to calve on pasture starting in late January. Even from the heifers, his calves would be up nursing within15-20 minutes after birth. Here are pictures of his dam and sire.kiblercattle said:I didn't want to hijack red bulls leader post. So I am hoping he will post info and pics about this bull on here.
