Got the new calve in the barn and want to see how they do against the rest? Dont miss this show, registration is at $30 per head and Payout for Champion steer and heifer is $1000 a piece. Class payouts are $50 for first, $40 for second and $30 for 3rd. What other show can you go to and get your registration fee back for 3rd in class?

Heifers show Saturday, showmanship to follow with a club calve sale at 7:30 that night. Steers show sunday.
Check in is Friday 6-8pm, 6-8am Saturday morning for heifers. Steer are 5-7 Saturday night, and 6-8 sunday morning. Both will be checked by weight. Both days the show start at 9am.

Multiple vender's will be there along with Highland Livestock Supply Trailer. Food vender's will also be there for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Tons of room to tie in the barns or tie to your trailer inside the fairgrounds if you wish.  If you want to paint, go for it! There are no rules against painting or building! <rock>

There has been a few questions that we have been receiving over the past days.

1. You do not have to show to sell or sell to show. The sale is a completely different event from the show. However if you do buy a steer Saturday night you are eligible to show that steer sunday if you so choose. Register sunday morning and pay your entry fee.

2. There is plenty of room for you to tie to your trailer. We do ask that you be courteous of others and try not to block anyone in. NO bedding is supplied.

3. Yes the shows do start at 9 both days. Saturday we have heifers, followed by showmanship then check in for steers at 5 to 7 followed by the sale at 7:30. Sunday show starts at 9 so we can get the steers shown and get the exhibitors home in a resonable time. We are unsure of the number of cattle the will be shown, so we don't want to be rushed to get through the classes.

4. There will be a sign at the road labeled "CMT County Line Cattle Blast". This is the gate you enter, just follow the signs. The address is 7265 Columbiana-Canfield Rd.
Canfield, OH 44406, if you are using a GPS

5. Sale cattle should all be in place by Noon on Saturday.

6. Classes will be determined by weight. We will be using digital Tru-test scales. If you have a breed animal, there must be a minimum of 5 to make a breed class, and papers must be with you at time of registration. If you are pending please bring proof, we understand this is an early show and you may not have received paper work back from the breed associations. Other than that you will be in the crossbred division.

This is our first show/sale of this kind for our association. If you have any advice or complaints on something we did please find a committee member and tell them what we can do to improve for next year. We are all here to have a good time and have a stress free show.
