Jamie Richards Memorial Classic- Lake City, Fl.

Is anyone going to Lake City this weekend? We are planning on taking four heifers and a steer.

How did the show go? who won?

We didn't go this time but one of my good friends won the steer show. I don't know about anything else.

I'm not sure about the steer show but in the heifer show the grand champion heifer came out of the commercial division. I believe she was shown by Harden Mobley. The reserve came out of the Maine division and was shown by Amanda Cone. Both of the heifer champions were very nice calves. The judges this weekend ,in the classes I watched, seemed to be very concerned with structure and femininity.
