Mud Creek Farms, German Valley, IL  has a great sale offering this weekend. This is there first annual sale. Cattle look great. There is something there for everybody. There is 13 heifers and 5 steers selling. Several ET's and also several out of their proven cows.

If you are looking for bargains this might be a place to look since it is their first sale and it's private treaty.

We are weaning this week and I will have pictures of the heifers when we wean.  I do have a picture of one of our sires of the heifers.  He is a 3/4 brother to the bull pictured on the Mud Creek Farms website AA Airline.  His name is AA LF Airline 849 ET and he has sired big bodied, deep sided, sound, muscular females with a ton of style.  We couldn't be happier with these heifers and they were out of heifers with and average birth weight of 69 lbs!!!  Here are some pictures of him.

Here are a couple pictures of some March heifers that I have in Missouri.  The first picture was taken this past spring as a baby (sorry haven't gotten this heifer pictured since weaning yet).  The second heifer was pictured @ two weeks post-weaning (which was about 2 weeks ago).

These two are consigned to the Oklahoma Hereford sale in December......(put them in the classifieds, too)
First one is a Bright Future out of a GQ heifer that won her division at two junior nationals. Pictured heifer's full brother won the Bred and Owned bull show this summer in Indy.

The second heifer is a Gir R Done heifer. Both are Feb. 2010 heifers.
