I am posting this for a friend. He has a black self catching working cattle chute for sale. It works well on moderate sized cattle. The sides open on it as well.  This chute used to be mine. It has been under roof for the last 10 years. The friend of mine has sold his cows and is in the goat business. I think I can get some photos if needed.

 Price $400

Yes! It would be a cheap good chute. I sold it to my buddy when I purchased my River Road chute and set up. I tried to get him to sell it a year ago but he wouldn't. Now he is in the Boar goats and realized he does not need it.  Ha has a brand new creep feeder also. Do not know the price on it.

I've been looking at the River Rode chutes and have heard good things.  Did you get the 7ft or 8ft chute?  Any tips or suggestions after your purchase that you would change?  Only want to make one of these purchases for a long time, so want to make sure I get it right the first time.  ;)  Thanks for the help....

Bluff Country:

I have a lot of River Road Equipment. LOVE it all. Bill and Dave are great to work with and there stuff is second to none. I would get there top of the line chute. I have there basic in my show barn and it works great. I posted a photo of our River road set up. I would change the head gate handle to an upward angle that is it. Feel free to call me if you have questions. Tell Bill and Dave I gave them good reviews if you call them.
