Wanted to take the time to tell this Lonnie guy and everyone else, we purchased a bred cow last year and she was bred to Oakveiw Big Jake. We had bred our cows to several of the top shorthorn bulls in the breed and out of 34 calves, Oakview Big Jake's heifer calf, by far, was the best that we had. She will be on the show circuit in Mississippi for the next two show seasons.

Frank will be bringing about 25 head.  I talked with him Monday afternoon and he's planning on leaving today if he can to beat the snow.  I'm hoping to leave Thursday morning, assuming the snow plow goes through.  Sure is heck keeping the cattle clean now.  I am glad I spent all weekend washing and clipping!  They say we're going to have up to a foot of snow by Wednesday, but clearing by evening.  Looks like the temps will moderate by the weekend.  You can check out Frank's cattle and the rest of them on the ASA website, click on the catalog icon.  He goes to a lot of work putting this thing together.
