My Turn x Shorthorn x Angus
Her grandam was sold to Kerry Lawrence years ago and produced a lot of good ones for him, this heifer has all the genetics behind her to be an outstanding cow and champion heifer.

This calf has been weaned two weeks today. She really eats the feed and is putting on weight. I washed her the other day and blew her out and she has really good hair, despite what she appears to have in the pics. She is broke to lead and acts like a big puppy dog for me.
She is starting to develop that "cowy" look the champion heifers have, deep bodied, straight lines, feminine front end etc etc. She is probably the soundest calf I have seen this year, moves like a cat with her head up and cocky looking. I recently had a long time clubby breeder stop by the other day and she was his pick of my calves.

If she's already broke to lead, that's worth a few hundred in my book. With the time and effort it takes to break a calf to lead that's worth some money right there. I'm not saying I hate breaking them to lead, but lets face it, its nobody's favorite job. It takes time, effort, patience, and skill. That's worth some mucho deniro in my book.

Do you have any updated pics of her? I'd love to see how she's coming along, especially if she's gettin some guts in her, then she's gotta be gettin "that look" to her. :)

Hey chris, I just washed her and clipped her up and she looks awesome. My brother needs to hurry up and get the pics off his phone. She stood in the chute about 2 hours and didn't make any fuss at all
