Here are our consignments to the Social sale in Rossville Indiana. The sale will be on Sept. 12th and a catalog should be out about three weeks before. If you have any questions about the sale offering or other calves please contact me at (620)793-8219 or (620)282-8364.
-Jeff

The First picture of the black cow is our SH + donor GFS Belle, we will offer a flush and 3 embryo's by TM Gus (sexed semen).

The second picture is a January Vortec/ FG Miss Angelica (full sib to 2007 NWSS Champion female).

Third is a Duram Red prospect out of the neighbors Red Angus bull and a K-Kim Last Call/ Trump/Mirage cow.

Fourth is a TM Gus daughter out of our DFS Velvet 760 donor.

And last is a Jakes Proud Jazz out of the velvet donor as well (I think that this one is an absolute ground sow and maybe a top purebred clubbie cow someday!)

Stumpy, I really didn't want two white heifers in a row, but if you insist on bringing those good ones out this way, I might just have to.

Kane, she is not, This gal is out of our donor DFS Velvet 760. The Gus heifer pictured is also out of her. Our DF GF Redhot cow did get left open for the year and we will be flushing her that way (Jazz)  this winter to try to make more like Campbell's heifer. Have you seen her lately? I really need to call Jamie and see how she is doing.

Justin, come on over for the sale it will be a great time. It would be fun to get one in your barn and I bet we could have a time with her!

Yes, I will go with white lol. Honestly I think that Whitey (thats her barn name) is truly special and you did a great job raising her and as usual campbells are doing a perfect job with her too.

Thanks Kane, I know we were exited when they got her. I don't think there are many homes better than their's anywhere.

Okay...so I am concerned that if you leave those white heifer go out west they might get discriminated against. Here in OH we love all colors. I would be willing if forced to take those white heifers in and give them a home....LOL
Seriously, that JPJ heifer is going to make a great brood cow!

I APOLOGIZE ! Your voice message from early today sounded like you said Jeff Duff . Per our conversation I did not realize it was you until you mentioned bringing heifers to Joe's sale. I felt like a a fool after I realized it was you when I got off the phone. Sorry I have been busy with a lot with a parent in the hospital, hay and weaning. My head is not the clearest. Any how, it was good talking to you.

Kane, I bet you would make a great home as well!

OH Breeder, your kindness overwhelms me. I couldn't bear the thought of these girls not being able to eat at the same bunk with the other colors of cattle or have to walk to another water fountain. The only way to save them is to come and bid so these girls can avoid a life of hardship. :'(  Thank-you for your coment it made me laugh and I agree with you on the JPJ.

Jeff, no worrys, when I left that message I may not have had enough coffee yet so I could have said Jeff Duff! Funny I even got the first name right. I had a good time talking with you anyway. I can't wait for Joe's sale and I want to stop over and say hi. I hope you can head over for the sale too.

If you would like a catalog for "The Social" and didn't get one you can PM me and I will make sure one gets to you. The catalog looks good and I am sure that the Metzger family will have a great event!

The catalog looks great.  Should be a good sale.  Could you tell me anything about the Lot #41 heifer???  She is not pictured and I have a friend looking for a show heifer for this next year.  He doesn't have a ton of money to spend, but the pedigree looks kinda cool.  If not you, who should I call?  Thanks.

Hey Jacob, I will be leaving on Friday to head out to IN. If you have any questions about the cattle call me at (620)282-8364 (that goes for anyone else as well) I will be happy to tell you what I see. Anyone can also call Joe Metzger or Loyd Arthur as well and their phone numbers are listed in the catalog. I am waiting for our stack of catalogs and we will send them out to those who requested them ASAP.

Thank-you,
Jeff Stump
