I like that second calf a lot.

I'm dating myself, but these folks showed (maybe raised) one of the most popular Houston Grand Champion steers ever back in the mid 80s.  I was just getting started but remember clearly the Charolais-X steer they won Houston with.

What was that calf?  Do I remember correctly that he was a Sugar Ray calf - probalby one of the first ones to win?  Didn't he win under the old three judge system at Houston?  I'd love to hear any stories you could tell on him.  Folks talked about that steer for years.  I remember Klippenstein talking about that steer during a set of reasons two or three years after the fact in his grand drive at the West Texas State Fair.

Yes sir that was us!  Yes we did raise him and yes he was a Sugar Ray.
Grand Champion Steer in 1986 at Houston.
Nice to see some people on here that still know who we are!
We raised some pretty good ones after that as well but all the Stuteville kids are out of showing now so we are trying to sell a few.

Thanks so much for the nice compliments!
Great to hear from other "old school" people that are still in it!

We have lots of stories to tell on "Pancho"!  He was a great one and we are proud that we raised him!
Thanks again!
