new calf

I am looking to pick out a new calf for show. What characteristics do I look for when picking my new steer?

Look for sound structure that always helps.  Depending on your age and experience look for a good temperment.  Nothing is worse than going thru your first year and all that work and having one with a nasty little attitude and making you miserable.

I'm shocked nobody else has piped up by now!
