I have a first time calving cow that calved on March 31, and today I noticed that a water sack that has appeared just before her bag on her belly. It took that calf a couple of days to nurse after she was born but is nursing alright now if that matter. I have been around feeder steers and show steers my entire life but this is my first cow and calf so I just want to know if I should be concered?
Water sack on lactating cow?
