Although I am not an eye candy fan really, your steers looks very nice. I like the friction in his pedigree the most! I have seen some awesome monopoly x friction calves, have you tried monopoly on the cow? Goodluck with the sale!

this whole thing is about rolling the dice
To an extent. But why roll the dice into deeper and deeper odds? Why risk all the trouble? When dealing with clubbys you still CAN use proven and consistent genetics. I've been there and done that. All the crap te clubby world can throw at you and all the good it can have too. I promise you that first clubby heifer you breed to a "calving ease" clubby bull to add "power" or whatever and she can't pass the calf, or she can't milk you will reasses your heifer breeding habits. Nobody likes bottle feeding a calf or cutting one out. Granted, it does happen, and people find success in some of these bulls, I have myself. But to make the same mistake twice is only halting your herd growth and isn't worth the trouble in the long run. So instead of rolling the dice on every situation, use some reason in decision making. Lord knows the clubby world needs it, I try at least.

Hollywood. I swear that bull breed just like monopoly except he will give you the performance monopoly calves don't always bring to the table. They may not be AS big middled but I think they are a little stouter and plenty of rib. He is the most underused bull in the clubby world I think. Ill second the MAB notion too

Walks alone I think. Can't beat the hip and muscle shape. You gota use him on a smooth shouldered cow.

I saw salty dog in Denver the year he was promoted... in my opinion one of the best bulls displayed that year. My question is... does he add the frame? I've always wanted to try him but my cows are larger framed simmy x angus cows.

Really? I thought he had some pretty serious issues, especially concerning structure.
I'm with you Olson, I didn't like him at all at the Ohio beef expo when I made my trip west.
