I used Witch Dr. on a White Jazz heifer that is small framed and he added a lot of frame to her calf. The calf came nice and small but has grown like crazy. I will be using him again in the future on my smaller framed heifers.

We leased him from Chad Sumner a couple of years ago and I can tell you he is calving ease. His calves all were very sound, great dispositions and we kept a couple of his daughters and they are excellent milkers! The only thing I would say to watch out for is he will down size so use him on your bigger cows/heifers.

If he is really small framed then I might have to try him. Have a very large framed cow I keep trying to downsize with no luck so far.  :)

All he has to do is put a disclaimer on his page that the cattle pictured are "representative" of what he has to offer.  Im sure theres a zillion calves out there that are bred and look very similar.

That would be the right thing to do if your going to use pictures of animals that do not belong to you.

I wonder if it could be possible that someone hacked his web site and put that picture up?

I would love to believe that but that was not the case. When a couple of different people contacted him about the calf just to see what his response would be he tried to sell the calf. He even knew who the sire was because I had that listed on Facebook the only he got wrong was the age by one month. So this was no accident or someone hacked his web site. He was very well aware of it and then even changed his story to say he was selling it for someone else and the name he gave he was selling it for was not mine. Bottom line his he never had my permission to use my picture and he had every intent on scamming potential customers. Hope he learned a lesson and will try to be honest next time he tries selling a calf.

To update everyone, the issue has been resolved and he has taken the picture off of his website. Before he was confronted with it  he tried to sell the calf to couple of different people even asking the one person to send him 1/2 down deposit then he would arrange getting the calf to them. So he had every intent on scamming everyone because he was not selling the calf for us or has ever even talked to us before. He spoke to the potential "buyers" he claimed the calf was at his place in TX. As the truth started to come out he tried to claim the calf belonged to some other big time club calf trader, then after he realized he was busted he claimed he had no idea how the picture ended up in his website! My picture is no longer on his website but I would question who the other calves belong to. I am so glad that I discovered this before some unsuspecting person purchased the calf because they would have been sent the wrong calf. Also after posting about this on here and FB I have heard from several people who also have a bad experience with this particular person. On the bright side a lesson learned, always watermark your pictures and NEVER buy a calf you  can not see in person without having someone you trust looking at the calf for you. Also ask around before buying from someone you do not personally know and pay close attention to background of their pictures. If the backgrounds don't match especially if you see palm trees in a region that is not tropical be suspicious.lol  Thank you!!!!

Went to showsteers.com found the fake pics in 2 minutes.  You can tell those arent his because there all differnt pictures and have already been for sale this fall. I can tell you what sale a few were in this fall. People these days.

I noticed that the backgrounds were different on the pictures and I don't think in the fall in Texas they have nice green palm trees. lol  Amazing what some people will do.

Nothing would surprise me that they do! I bought one from them  and that ended it for for me.  And he went to the salebarn. They do alot of talking and don't raise anything! Everyone around these parts know them and know how they are and what they are doing. Sorry about your pic being stolen. Most of us around central Texas know what the truth is.

Thanks! It's crazy what some people will do. I am still shocked about it. To top it off its not even a great picture of the calf I have better pictures.lol What some people will do to make money. Its a shame they don't care at all about the people they are scamming.

I don't like to name people on a public site because they may have kids or other family members on here but I am happy to give the name in a personal message and I all I said about showsteers is if you want to know who it is just go thereto find the website and its a breeder from Texas and my picture is right there to see. That does not mean everyone one showsteers is a liar but when your looking at calves for sale just keep an eye for that picture. I am sure the majority of breeders on there are honest and I have personally bought from some of them. So I don't think everyone is going to think they are all liars and that is one reason I posted the picture. Just be CAREFUL when buying a calf when you can not look at in person.

Just keep an eye out for that picture on a website from Texas listed on Showsteers.com

Message me and I will give you the website. And here my picture that is on his website.

Just found out that some of the other calves on his site do not belong to him and he is advertising them as his and even stole a video of a calf from Youtube that was already sold in another sale!! WOW what a liar!
