i really like the layout!!! and the pics are great!

2 suggestions...1. maybe use a different font for your farm name, just to "jazz" it up a little, separate it from the text,  and 2.  i have high speed internet and for some reason it took forever for your pics to load...so im wondering if maybe the file sizes are too big...either that or my internet is not being high speed this evening...

other than that, great job!

Good start.  It could be

LJ is right, file sizes way too big.  On your cows page, most of the photos are 1400kb.  You need to be around 50 - 100 kb or less.  The reason they are so big is the resolution.  You have "print" resolution, which is good for a magazine, but is not needed for the web.

If you don't have photoshop, I recommend using gimp, which is a free application that is very similar to photoshop.  I have included a link below.  Once you have those resized, we can worked on jazzing it up a bit.  If you have any problems, I can resample the images for you.

I am a big consistency person, so I would try to make all text the same size (I would go a bit bigger for everyone's eyes), same orientation, blah, blah.
Maybe bigger and more of a serif type font for the farm name. Center it to grab our eye?
Change the size of the pictures and you are off to a great start!

Look for the option to download gimp.

Your overall dimensions of your photos are in check, 631 x 420.  The problem lies in the fact that you are loading 2613 x 1740 sized images and then reducing with the height and width tag, but actual file size stays the same.  You need to resize them to the correct size that you need, or resample to reduce your quality.

Give it a try with gimp and if you have problems, I can do them with ps and send them back to you.

Nice homepage, good first impression.

I agree that the title needs jazzed up.

Rest of the site loaded very slow, but you are working on that!

Well done and good luck!  (clapping)
