Well my pair of clippers today finally bit the dust and burnt up. Now I am trying to decide to spend the money for 5 speeds or stick with the 2 speeds. Are 5 speeds worth the extra money? Ive ran them a couple times but not for extended times. Whats everyones benefits and disadvantages? Thanks

I like them because they seem to fit better in my hand. I also feel like I can sculpt a little better

Personally, I didn't have very good luck with keeping my 5 speeds running - I had one set and after the third time they needed repair I traded them back for 2 speeds.  I don't think I ever got 2 good days of clipping out of them.  They may be better now, I haven't tried them since - I keep 3 or 4 sets of 2 speeds, they don't give me any trouble.

i used a pair of 5 speeds at a show. the next day went and traded my 2 speeds in for 5 speeds just because i liked them so much. to me they are lighter and more powerful than the 2 speeds. id say definitely worth the extra money
