2009 Missouri Deer Season

We had a trophy year here on the ranch.  They took a 14 pointer, 11 pointer, 10 pointer, and an 8 pointer.  Check out the 14 pointer...it had an extra horn coming out of its head.  All 4 bucks were really nice sized.  They also took 2 does.  I guess the 4 points on one side is really helping the buck harvest.

I don't know how many have been harvested by hunters but the vehicles have done quite well.  I've never seen so many dead deer on the highways.  Be interesting to see the insurance statistics this year.

lol Yeah I would have better luck hitting one with my car!  I could have had about 10 of them last night

i took a shot at one that looked just like the one on the bottom here in iowa

unfortunatly he was almost 50 yards out and i just gave him a massive haircut

Love those split eyeguards on the 14.  But the young man proppin up pa's buck takes the cake. 

Last night buck #5 was taken...really nice 9 pointer.  The big one shows up everytime they are gutting one...he's at least 17 points and massive.  Talk about one smart cookie!
