Calves look real nice...I really like the first and last calf you posted pics of. What are your plans for these calves?

I have been really late in my replying - sorry! We will take a string of some of these calves to the Agribition Prospect show & sale and market them there. However, most of these calves will be sold private treaty. I think we have too many good ones to take out this year, so there will be a great selection available right out of the pasture in summer/early-fall.

Shortyisqueen - What kind of camera do you have? Your pictures are great! Love your calves also! I will post some of my babies in the next few weeks.

The Camera is a Canon 5D Mark II with a 70-200mm F4 L series lens. It was a good chunk of change, but definitely worth it!

Here are a couple updated pictures of some of these calves, as well as some new arrivals.

The first two are the Eyes on the Money 41Y heifer that starts this thread, the next is the 39Y brockle Eyes on the Money heifer pictured earlier.

A couple of our later arriving calves, the black & white heifer (IMG_4925) is an Eye Candy heifer and the roan is a purebred Shorthorn heifer sired by HD Swagger and out of our Lilian 69J cow.

Here are a couple cell phone pics in the pasture of my first 2 calves of the year. Both are out of first calf heifers and the pics were taken at 1 week of age. Blk/White face calf is a heifer that is a Total Solution X Leroy Brown and the smoke/mouse colored bull calf is out of Predator X Dr. Who/Char Cross. These 2 as well as the rest of my offspring will be forsale this fall.

Nice set of calves. I used eyes on the money last year and they all had really good hair.

Here are a few of my bull calves at about 3 wks of age.

The first 2 pics are a Leroy Brown X Cigar bull calf. (hair is a little curly but other than that he's pretty good).
The next 2 pics are a Heatwave X Ang bull.

I also have a nice Eye Candy X Maine bull calf and a Rajun Cajun X Maine that wouldn't cooperate for pics but will try again soon to get some of them.

Down south we have not had any rain since October in this area and the cows are beginning to show it!  However I am attempting to attach some pictures of a few Smilin Bob x WMW calves that are late Febs.

"Up North"

We haven't had any rain since October either....

But we have had precipitation, SNOW!

Unfortunately grass doesn't grow under snow either.
