Very nice looking calves Jamie!! Do you know if Muddy Water is a diluter carrier? I'm always scared of getting rat tail calves out of Char/Char x bulls on black cows. If someone could explain the rat tail phenomenon, please do. Thanks in advance.

We have about 12 -15 calves from last year -this year from MUDDY and no sign oF  RATTAIL out of mostly reg. ANGUS cows and some hlf blood char cows and a few straight Char cows ...
The sons of HEAT WAVE that I had tried seem to not have the rattail characteristic the HW has ....CARNAC calves have very little switch when born but grow into it ....The MUDDY bull will also have some pure black calves
from  ANGUS COWS ....The calves we have so far are very good calves, to me there great, because the calves have had none of the birth problems and structure problems

MUDDY WATER - THAT HEIFER YOU LIKE IS DAM GOOD i THINK,BUT SHE HAS BEEN FEED MORE THAN THE other heifers for 3 months and it sure makes a difference....How ever good they are and if not fed pretty good you can sure make them better with feed ....
