Wow, a distant relative of mine just won 4th Runner Up Miss America, as Miss Kentucky.  My grandmother & her grandmother were 1st cousins.  Her aunt was a classmate of mine & two of her uncles were my wrestling coaches in HS.  At least somebody several branches over in my family tree received some looks & some brains.   ;)   Anyway, it's kinda cool to see a local girl do well at a national level.  Not everyday that stuff happens.  Congrats to her!   (thumbsup)

OMG TJ !! As I was reading this, I thought it was family you were talking about.w/ grandama,1st cousins and such LOL <rock> She is beautiful and congrats to her. All us Kentucky girls aint ugly and spit out kids like a brood sow or dip snuff..lol ;) ;D

We were always told that the tooth brush was invented in Kentucky. If it had been invented anywhere else it would have been called a " Teeth brush". Obviously Miss Kentucky 2010 never got the memo. A very beautiful young lady, and a great personality to boot! I think she was many peoples favorite to win. Congrats TJ to you and your family. I think she is a keeper! Possible donor quality!

Tj, I know you're not quite from the 'sticks'.. but you had better not be thinking of servicing that donor prospect...  That just be to much of a Kentuckian thing to do!  Anyways, I guess anything after 2nd cousin is legal though!!! 

On a serious note, congrats to the families accomplishments!
