Mike, if you had any Mist semen left, I think I'd use that on your cow, but she's awfully good..she could probably work with most anything!

Thanks.  Yea, I'm really looking forward to her Primo calf in 3 months.

By the way, Roan Sue still looks good at 9 years of age. Where did she end up at? I haven't heard of her in awhile. Is she still alive?  Also, I am glad to hear that there is a few straws of Sandy Creek Ivor around. If I can find a picture of him I will get it scanned and post it.

She's at Trans Ova in IA. Waymar & Milestone still own her.

I like the HC Timeline 17T bull also and since two syndicates were bidding I assume that his semen is not on the open market....???

Doesn't cost to ask...

Well since we are on the topic and everybody is having an ogle at Timeline, I thought I'd offer another angle of the bull.

This picture was taken the same day as the one previously posted, You might think that he is swishing his tail in those pictures but nope! It was just that windy!

In fact I just came from pasture showing another fellow "Planeteer" Timeline and some of his first calf crop.

If any of you are in the area please contact me, I'd be more than happy to give you the "Tour".

Wow, Nice bull!!    Are you sure you Canadian guys couldn't spare a little semen from him next spring so my best girl Myrtle could experience the power of Canada in her next flush??  Hope to see him in Louisville!!

Oakbar, I can't speak for the group ast there are sveral of us who had to pool our lunch money together to buy a bull of tis caliber, I just happen to be the lucky guy with the bull in his pasture right now and I'm thrilled for him to be there.

I have a couple heifer calves on the ground from him now (the calf in my avatar is one of them)

All I can tell you is that semen marketing opportunities are being discussed, likely this fall a decision will be made as to whether semen or breeding packages will be available to those outside of the syndicate.

All I can say is tht to date it appears the bull is breeding beyond our expectations and that he is not only a fantastic bull phenotypically but a true breeding piece as well, I consider him to be of as much of a "Herd Bull" caliber as any other I've been lucky enough to be a part of.

Excellent Bull!! I think he could do alot of good for today's shorthorns. I saw him in JIT's avatar and have been looking to see if there was a story behind it. I will have to look him up in Louisville.

I stopped and snapped a few more pics today when making the pasture checks. Here are a couple more cows. The first is Six S Leah 55L... a cow that we flushed 6 times since last September. She produced 162 grade 1 embryos in 6 flushes, to average 27 grade 1 embryos per flush. She is the best flushing cow we have ever had. She came home after the last flush in April, and settled AI to Saskvalley Pioneer 126P. This cow would be too big for some people on SP, as she would be weighing close to 2200 lbs now.  She is super easy fleshing and her calves are the same. She has had 5 daughters and 1 son naturally so far and all have become excellent animals. Her 08 bull calf sold to $5000 in our Spring bull sale to Texas.  Three embryos from her sell in the Funding the Future sale in Springfield on Thursday, July 2nd.

The second cow is a 5 year old daughter of Diamond Captain Mark 27C who is also the sire of our our Elsie Jade and her two full sisters as well as Prairie Lane Sparkle 1K. This female is good example of why we like the daughters of the 27C bull. They are all thick, good uddered and easy fleshing females.
