What are your opinions of a step up Simy calves.  I am considering using him.  Thanks for your replies

To start I own the bull so may be biased haha, but here are some things to chew on. 3 heifers selling on Hudson pines sale, catalog is up. They had. Division winner and supreme overall with step up offspring. Harkers in Indiana led their sale with one, brought 29,000. Two others (that I know of) have brought over 12,000 this fall in online sales. With all the above said I'm excited for next year now that semen is available to all, should be exciting. He's in stud at Nichols in maxwell Iowa if your in the neighborhood. Very friendly set of people. Two step the supreme at sweepstakes is there also, I have seen another son step ahead is a 1/2 blood that's impressive.

We only had one ET born this year.  He's a good one.  If they all have his front, hip and rear leg, I'll like them.

Glad to hear that husker. Ryan at Hudson pines said they will have 8-10 step up bulls at the sale in Montana. Really likes them

I only had one born this year but she was my best heifer out of 20 head. Definitely going to use more this next year, awesome fronted good middled and down right attractive. I wish my son was older so he could show her. I would love to see a mature pic of him if you have any Bar QH.

Great to hear woody! I planned on getting one before he went back to stud but it didn't work out time wise. I will be picking him back up in the next month then have a mature picture before breeding season issues come out. I'm proud as a peacock of him, came home from stud, bred cows at my place right off the trailer, then right to bob john angus in Henderson (who will be selling several step up calves late November online) bred 25 cows there and right back to stud. Sound as they come which I wouldn't of guessed off the picture.
