I just thought I would post a couple of things we just had put together. One is a new business card and the other is an ad we are running in the Canadian Shorthorn Report and the Country. Both of these were designed by Chris Alexander who just happens to be JIT's wife. If anyone needs something like this done I would highly recommend giving Chris a try.

The ad is pretty sharp, but the only thing I see missing is a purpose. Are you trying to sell these females, brag about them, or say Thanks? I guess my rule of thumb is that every ad should have some kind of a call to action - be it subtle or in your face.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that an add should have a purpose and I think we got what we wanted from this add. First to highlite the farms accomplishments at the National and to thank those that helped us get there.

I would have prefered sometype of header like "It's been a successful year!", etc. etc. but it still looks nice.

Yeah, I think I would done something like that as well. Just a little short 1 liner thrown in there would've helped a lot.  But, it does look nice.
