We are offering a flush on Nimmo Reid Wonita 12W in the CWA Shorthorn Sale on Nov 24th.  Wonita was the Champion shorthorn in the First Lady Classic in 2010.  She has a great job raising her 1st calf and we are excited to have her as a foundation female & look forward to the influence she will have on our herd!  I am attaching a couple pics, and please let me know your comments.

She has turned into a pretty good looking cow. What is her calf by?

Thank you! :)  And thanks for posting that link Okotoks.

Her calf is sired by our herd sire, Semiahmoo Upgrade 6U who is a Pure Gold son.

I loved this female when I saw her last fall and IMO, she should have been in the Chamionship circle in the Agrbition Shorthorn show. It looks from the picture that she has developed just as I expected she would. I am looking forward to seeing her again this fall and I hope you get rewarded for the quality animal you have produced. I think she offers a lot of great things to this industry. She is first class!

They really have made an effort with the catalogue this year. There are some really interesting and diverse lots here for all tastes. I already have a couple of favourites picked! It's interesting how some of the older Shorthorn genetics are coming back big time. I myself have invested too in some Super Flag and Perfect Count genetics to see what they'll produce when mated to modern type cows. I also see there are a few noticeable absentees from the sale too! A couple of big names I was expecting to see that haven't anything this time around! Thanks for posting the link Okotoks.

I love it when a fancy show heifer comes back as an attractive cow with a fancy calf at foot (thumbsup)

Here is a link to the catalogue.

Thanks for the positive comments!
JIT I guess its too bad for us you weren't judging last year! ;)
Sure would have been nice, but I can appreciate her competition as well.  We will give it another go this year!!  Looking forward to it, less than a month to go!!
We think she has a lot to offer.  Like her mom we were confident she had the ability to make the transition from show heifer to cow and put that style and power into her offspring, and we are very happy that she has :)
