AI Gun

I am trying to find out what size AI gun I need for some semen that I bought that is in a 2 ml straw?  Thanks!

Not sure if I ever heard of a 2 ml straw, are you sure it wasn't a .25 ml straw -- that is 1/4 cc for us old schoolers. Quite a bit of the imported semen from Australia comes in 1/4 ml, those guns are the same as the normal A-I guns for the 1/2 ml we are used to , but simply hae a smaller diameter chamber.

If you can't find one, I still have 14 of them I used for years transferring embryos. Still use them when I can get the right sheaths in sterile form.

Thanks for the info.  I was able to get a hold of the guy that I got it from and got the info that I needed. 

Hmmm I didnt know they got that big. I just got done taking an AI class and he said when they come from Europe they are a 1/4 and a lot around here are 1/2 and you can get combo guns. Ha you learn something every day
