no. the progressives haven't received talking points/funds from the white house yet to pay people to protest.

Sharpton, who promoted the Tawana Brawley hoax in the 1980s and in 1995  led a protest against the “white interloper” owner of a Harlem clothing  store that ended in a deadly shooting rampage at the store, was a  featured speaker at the March 31 rally, called “The March for  Trayvon Martin,” where he advocated for Zimmerman’s prosecution.

I'm sorry I have never owned a slave. Black people in general are the most racist people. It's exhausting. Al Sharpton, heaven or hell? I'm betting he will be with me fighting the legions of the underworld for eternity.

almost.

The president of the Baltimore City Chapter of the NAACP is calling Saturday night’s acquittal of George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, “an incredible miscarriage of justice.”

Tessa Hill-Aston released a statement minutes after the verdict was read.

“I am terribly saddened by this travesty and am afraid for the lives of black boys and black men everywhere. Tonight George Zimmerman will go home to his family and friends but there will be no comfort for Trayvon’s parents because their son will never be able to come home,” Hill-Aston said.

“The jury has allowed a murderer to go free and has sent a message about the value they place on the life of black children. This a moment for us to calmly reflect on what we have witnessed but that reflection can only last for a moment because we must continue to work diligently to rid our world of the hatred, the racism and the sickening profiling that led to the death of Trayvon Martin.”

both zimmerman and obama have one white parent, yet in no way is obama ever portrayed as even remotely white.  once again, the party of inclusion.

The media helped keep this racially charged. Watching all those anchors backtrack after the verdict was somewhat humorous.

I understand the emotions but people need to get to the root of their grievance's. Justice was served is this case, IMO.

I'm sure the NAACP will be pushing for an investigation into Benghazi.

Why is the progressive movement so exclusionary.

Perhaps jury trials should be eliminated and we should just decide every issue with progressive leaders.

The amount of coverage this had was unbelievable. Why do we not see what is happening with Boston bomber or the attempted shoe bomb by a terrorist here in the US, or anything else that's significantly important to our nation? ( not taking away from the case). How about our national debt, countless scandals and unseen political agendas aimed at US citizens? No, not a die hard republican, not a democrat, but my goodness media your supposed to be on our side. It's not even worth watching....got to love the media...

yes between the EXTREME media bias, and the political pressure for their to be, this whole trial was a JOKE.  It didn't serve anyone besides the race baiting groups that want any excuse to get their agenda in front of people actually hurting race relations more than helping.  I mean this guy was doing what he was supposed to as a neighborhood watch captain.  Also the cops didn't say "don't get out of the car" they said "we don't need you to do that"  big difference.  Then I bet no one knows that both him and his wife tutored black children for free, and had their children's black friends over all the time with no problems.  Zimmerman was not a racist wanting to kill some black kid, he was protecting his family and friends from a bunch of young punks that had been breaking into homes all over the neighborhood.  Oh yea riots in Oakland.

if martin had killed zimmerman, would sharpton and the rest of the left had said anything?

a tree fell in the woods, and no progressive heard it.

that, my friends, is an exclusionary social policy.

Anyone that watched any part of this trial knows the prosecution had no case.  Their star witnesses did nothing to help their case.  They actually helped the defense.  The only people that think justice wasn't served have racial motives, or know nothing of the case.  They turned George Zimmerman into a white person, even though he is biracial.  It's not even the black against white people case they tried to make it.

i never reach to be sensational, just point out hypocrisy.

for some reason, pointing out hypocrisy to those who are hypocritical instills the strongest denial.

how the media picks and chooses and maintains a story to fit a political agenda and not do the opposite is hypocrisy.

Haha! Being polite in common social settings is hypocrisy...good luck fighting that sensational hypocrisy battle!

Hmm,  a lot to think about in this case.  Ultimately, I believe the jury reached the only verdict they could in this situation.  And I have no doubt George Zimmerman was in fear of losing his life.  My problem with what happened comes into to play before the actual fight.  George Zimmerman was on neighborhood WATCH!  He had already contacted authorities, and was told to return to his car.  If he had done that, he could have WATCHED as his title suggested, without any physical altercation, and the police could have done their jobs.  Just my $0.02.
