Joel is capable of doing a good job,  his family is big in the shorthorn breed, doubt he knows a lot of the kids here, small will not be 1 st priority, functional might be. Personable good guy, not an a**

His kids heifers were always fat enough, big enough, and darn sure looked the part. Their steers pretty much the same, his kids were good showmen, and I would suspect that will influence him.  He has been around the show deal for ever and knows the tricks, and I would bet you had better be pretty much right when he sees you.  Attrition has hit so he may swallow some problems, but I doubt he will take 1 that is structurally haywire, and by this time probably needs to be fat enough.
