Tyler,
94 is my favorite and 154 and 58 are my close second.  The 97 red calf also sticks out.  The Moto Moto calves also have me thinking.  They look like they have a lot of room to grow. Not nearly as hairy as I thought they would be.  But overall a crazy nice set of calves.  Hope to post some pics of the kids' steers in next few weeks.

I like 154 pretty well.

I like 94 a lot.  A whole lot.  What kind of hair will that one have?

Here is the link to his sire: http://cattlevisions.com/bull_detail.php?BullId=3565

He looks like just another club calf bull but my friend knows the owner and sent me a couple candid older photos of him and I feel he is so sound and good he even would have application in the commercial world. His dam is a red angus bull out of a shorthorn (Sin City) cow. We have had a couple kids show charoalis sired calves out of his mother and one did very well at a county fair in IA and the other just won his fair (albeit small) in CA. For being charolais sired both of those calves had decent hair. The one in IA had a little better due to my friend helping them out.

Thanks Ryan I appreciate your comments. I can't wait to see how your steer does and I'm currently devising a plan to hopefully get calves to you at a reasonable price but no promises yet.

My son is getting ready to show his second Tenacious calf from Mill Iron A Livestock this coming Labor Day at our county fair.  I think he has a shot. His first steer is in my avatar.  He got reserve last year and should have won but we didn't push him hard enough in the end.  Not the steer's fault.  I hope to post pics soon of this year's steer. (Will try to post one from my cell phone)
I absolutely love the Tenacious calves.  About as dog gentle as calves can get, easy feeders and grow.  I was sad to see Tyler sell him but understand having to get some new blood out there.  I am now a firm believer in the Red Angus / Char cross thanks to these calves.  Thank God for the semen tank and Tenacious being available.  And also Tyler and his family at Mill Iron A are about as supportive and easy going as it gets. If you are in the Wyoming area or have ability to ship you won't regret it.

Not the best pic but can show you how thick Tenacious makes them

Here is a pic of this years Tenacious calf back in early April at about 700 pounds. His feet were long  .  Heb us not sway back. Again not the best pic

Nice group of calves Tyler.

What kind of cows are the Moto Moto calves out of, Red Angus, or Char X?  Did you get any heifers from him?  BWs?

Thanks for using him.

Most of the cows we used him on were char x, just a few mostly red angus. Birthweights were in the 70's so hard to fault him there at all. I like the way the calves look and these might be the easiest feeding steers and the easiest keeping females we will have!

Librarian, we think a lot of Emma as well. She is a pb red angus and weans a big calf every year. Every heifer we have had out of her has been retained
