We use it on top of mulch on our tie rail. I like it a lot, it mixes in with the mulch and makes kind of a kitty litter type of bedding. We clean all the bedding out once every two weeks and just add a little mulch and the becks stuff during that time.

We use it on top of mulch too. We have tried to use it alone and it doesnt work well. It will not pack down. On top of mulch is better. Only reason we use it is because we can spread it thru the manure spreading on fields.
