I'm having trouble getting my daughters heifer it belly down. We have tried changing feeds, full tank, winning fill and can't get any belly on her. She is putting on some fat finally but I cant get much belly. Any suggestions will be apprieciated... Now she's getting 11# of feed, 4 handfulls of wet beet pulp, appetite express(am only) and 4oz of glucoat twice a day. Also free choice grass hay when turned out at night.

how long are you soaking the beet pulp?  We had that problem with one of our heifers and then we just went to getting it wet, soaking for like a min. then feeding it.  It helped.
