Was wondering if anyone still fools around with Belted Galloways? I used to have one growing up and the guy who used to lease our land out that is all he raised. I love the breed and their dispositions. I haven't seen any around in years and was wondering if they have pretty much gone by the wayside. It would be ashame if they did because they are remarkable cattle.

I was wondering the samething myself! I used to raise them too then I went to Angus. They are some of the best cattle to raise! Gotta love the thickness, gentle disposition and maternal packages they come with! Would love to get a couple again!

That is my son's pink belted bull.  He was blue for his schools football playoffs and will be red later this week for Christmas(if it doesn't rain us out)  Watch out for Easter!
