What would be the best supplies to use for bracing the lower legs of a baby calf that was born this am with a ligament problem.  Talked to vet on phone and that is what she suggested to do.    thanks for your help.

Bath towels, fold to length and then wrap around tight enough to hold legs straight. Secure with 2 or 3 bands of duct tape. It will be loose enough to not cut off circulation but stiff enough to work.
Good for about 3 days max, then take off and redo, legs will sweat, and get an awful smell plus infection if you don't.

Padding then a rolled magizine. Everyone has those around i use the paper ones, not the glossy hard spined ones but I think they could be if padded enough. Then vet wrap and maybe some duct tape on the bottom if the ground is wet. They usually dont have to stay on too long.
